To say that we are thrilled with our Pacific Energy insert would be an understatement. So far this entire heating season, we have used it to totally heat our 2500 sq. ft. two story home. I never would have thought this would be possible. I truly believe we will not need to turn our furnace on at all this heating season! As a side benefit, the wood consumption on this unit is very low and the air wash system keeps the glass very clean.

When we had the house built, the builder’s guy that installed the fireplace made a number of mistakes and the builder grade fireplace was not acceptable unless you like lighting a fire that sucks all the warm air out of your house. I sought out someone to correct these issues and install a woodstove in our basement.
